River Bourne Centre is a vibrant and unique sport, health and wellbeing centre for the whole community.It is geared toward helping people of all ages and abilities improve their overall health and wellness by involving in activities they enjoy and benefit from.

Active Living

The centre promotes a lifestyle concept of active living. “Active Living” is a concept that connects the mind, body and spirit in physical activity. It can mean different for different individuals. It can be a game of badminton, dancing, group fitness session, wellness yoga or a cycle trip with your friends. We offer individuals an avenue to take up such activities. We believe quality fitness/wellness activities if delivered in a more fun and structured way can create a positive healthy life style in an individual than working with mean expensive work out machines.Active living can help to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, improve your overall health and well-being, reduce stress levels, minimize health issues, help you to maintain a healthy weight, assist in proper balance, posture and the maintenance of healthy bones and strong muscles. In an age where machines rules the centre puts much importance in offering activities that promote more human interaction.
