Root & STEM

Filled with articles, podcasts, and lesson plans, the Root & STEM app is a free digital resource for K–12 educators and learners at all ages. The Root & STEM publication offers a holistic approach to education, merging heart and head while pushing the boundaries for how Canada thinks about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). Each issue features articles, activities, and lesson plans with a specific focus on STEAM education through creativity. Root & STEM provides a platform for the sharing of more diverse STEAM stories and resources, hoping educators will see the unique needs of their communities and classrooms reflected.
