RUP FSU

The RUP, means SINGLE RECORD OF PARTICIPANTS. It is an updated list of individuals and households across the country that can receive benefits of a social program. Those who receive any kind of social benefit is called "Participants". It is unique because it has created and is administered by the State of Honduras, to be the only list the country can use public, private or international organizations to develop programs and social projects. Thus, the benefits are sorted and all receive attention, according to your needs.

Objective: Having updated list of participants such as location and characteristics of their homes, family composition and other important data to meet the needs of every home information; This information will be used to plan and bring benefits to poor families according to their main needs.

Utility: Through the RUP individuals or families are identified throughout the national territory to prioritize those in poverty to which the Government must help as established national strategic plans and international agreements.

Strengths

1) Used to meet the needs of families in poverty to direct social action to improve their quality of life.

2) It helps to be transparent government actions making visible public investment in social matters.

3) Facilitate coordination among the institutions whose mission is to provide care to Hondurans who need it most.
