SabiMONI

SabiMONI is a financial eLearning platform developed to equip participants with high-quality financial literacy content and the Learner-Centered Teaching Methodology to become a Certified Financial Literacy Trainer (CFLT). The certified trainers will educate others on how to make well-informed decisions about their individual, household and business finances.

The course takes maximum 3 months assuming 3-4 hours of self-study per week. It consists of 14 financial literacy modules and a Learner-Centred Teaching Methodology module. All are mandatory and need to be completed in a sequence. The next module opens only if you complete the online assessment of the previous module. After having successfully completed all modules you will be invited to a physical assessment to get your financial literacy and teaching skills tested for certification. There is one assessment location per state in Nigeria.

Common to any learning experience, at the end of each module, this course provides you with questions directly related to the course content. Most questions will give you two attempts. In order to receive a certificate of completion for this course, you must achieve a score of at least 60% across all graded questions and pass the physical assessment. In case of not passing an assessment, you have a final second attempt to retake the assessment after studying the module again. During the physical assessment, you must prove your knowledge about financial literacy and how to teach a class by preparing and holding a session in a classroom environment with other trainees.

The topic will be preselected and communicated to you in advance as well as the grading criteria. The final certificate will be issued after you have successfully completed the physical assess not indicate a grade but will indicate that you successfully completed the course and will be issued online.
