Since the advent of the web 2.0, there has been a paradigm shift in the realm of knowledge production. Leaving the Industrial society behind, India, too, despite several hindrances, has embarked on the path of Information.

We, at Sachetonata, thus, intend to further the cause of democracy by empowering the subaltern people with right information at the right moment. Presently, we have developed a web and app based CIS model that aims at collecting and disseminating information regarding all social and welfare programmes of the West Bengal and India governments in detail and with full-proof authenticity. We also have a “where and how to contact” cell, composed of some dedicated resourceful volunteers, in case there is any dispute over a government-assisted welfare programme.
