Safe Subway is an essential tourist and NYC native app alike. Safe Subway has the following features:

• Finds the nearest (and safest) subways to your location and provides directions to that subway (bike, car, walk or bus).

• Each of the 473 subway stations is ranked with an overall safety rating.

• Easy-to-read star rating system to determine if subway is safe.

• # of Felonies, Misdemeanors, violations (c-summons) and shootings is for each subway station is available that either resulted in an arrest in as a Complaint.

• For each arrest or complaint, suspect/victim details are available such as nature of incident (e.g. rape, robbery, felony assault, etc.), age and sex.

• Subway station details are filterable by YTD or the last 3 years.

• Subway station details are also filterable by incidents directly in transit Vs near transit (e.g. within 1/10 Mile of subway station)

• Provides graphical display with percentages how much crime has went up/down year-over-year.

• Transit District and Precinct confines is available in details section of complaint/arrest.

• Perfect for rookie Police Officers or Officers that participate in the daily all-out details and need to familiarize themselves with the area.
