Safe Walk

Safe Walk is an initiative towards the safety of women.

The app works by allowing you to share your location ONLY with the people you want to. Your privacy is highly important to us.

Whenever you start commuting through a suspicious neighbourhood press the "Tap to start commuting" button. You will get a link sharing option on the following screen. You should share the link through any messaging medium (e.g WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.) to trustworthy people (e.g family, guardian, friends, etc.). They will be able to track your safety status in real-time.

Moreover, the app also asks you whether you are safe at periodic intervals (decided by you). If you fail to answer the app, it alerts your trackers about suspected danger.

It also has a highly accessible SOS button which you can use to immediately alert your tracker about potential danger.

Note: Your location is only tracked when you are commuting. And your location data is only shared through the link, and ONLY you decide who you share the link with.
