Salmo 60

1 You have rejected us and scattered us, O God; you have poured out your anger; restore us now!

2 Thou hast shaken the earth, and made it open; repairs its breaches as it threatens to collapse.

3 You have caused your people to pass through difficult times. You gave us a stunning wine.

4 But those who fear you have given you a sign to flee from the arrows.

5 Save us with your right hand, and answer us, that those whom you love may be delivered.

6 From his sanctuary God spoke: “In my triumph I will divide Shechem and divide the valley of Succoth.

7 Gilead is mine, Manasseh also; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.

8 Moab is the washbasin in which I wash myself, I throw my sandal at Edom; I give my cry of victory over Philistia! ”

9 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

10 Was it not thou, O God, that hast cast us off, and ceased to go out with our armies?

11 Give us help against our adversaries, for the help of man is useless.

12 We will win the victory with God, and He will trample upon our adversaries.
