Sanskrit Subhashitmala

Subhashitas [सुभाषितम्] are Sanskrit [संस्कृत] aphorisms or maxims. "Su" in Sanskrit [संस्कृत] means good; "bhashita" means spoken; which together means well spoken. Subhashitas in Sanskrit are short verses that convey thoughtful messages or words of wisdom.

"Sanskrit Subhashitmala" [संस्कृत सुभाषितमाला] has a collection of Subhashitas [सुभाषितम्] in Sanskrit [संस्कृत] language. Some key features of the application include:

1. List of Subhashitas [सुभाषितम्] along with their meaning in Marathi [मराठी] and English

2. Ability to search Subhashitas [सुभाषितम्]

3. Ability to add Subhashitas [सुभाषितम्] as favorite or share with different applications using context menu.

4. Desktop widget showing Subhashita [सुभाषित] of the day (refreshes every 24hrs).

"Sanskrit Subhashitmala" [संस्कृत सुभाषितमाला] app needs indic font support and hence it is best viewed in Android 4.1 [Jelly Bean] version onward. But "Sanskrit Subhashitmala" [संस्कृत सुभाषितमाला] app is still made available to the older versions supporting 2.3 [Gingerbread] and onward.

Please note; many old devices doesn't render indic fonts correctly and this is an known issue with android operating system.
