About 60 years ago, Lalan Devi came to live in village harda of small kasba Sonaili in district Katihar, Bihar. At that time the area was very backward. Lalan Devi always believed that education is very important for the development of her family and society . Lalan Devi provided higher education to her children and grand children as well. As Lalan devi always cherished the dream of an educated society, she inspired her grandsons Mr.Rakesh Kumar Anand and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Anand to incorporate LALAN DEVI FOUNDATION a under section 8 company as per company act 2013,for educational and general welfare of the society. In pursuance of the same endeavour LALAN DEVI FOUNDATION founded "Sri Ayodhya Vidya Mandir" for the educational welfare of the society in the fond memory of late husband Of Smt. Lalan devi, Sri Ayodhya Prasad Singh.
