SBH Connect

The Brazilian Abdominal Wall Hernia Society (SBH) was created with the aim of valuing hernia surgery in Brazil and the professionals dedicated to treating this prevalent disease. Furthermore, it aims to inform the population about abdominal wall defects. SBH is based on the inestimable value that the responsibility and competence of professionals represent for the quality of life of patients.

SBH also has as a premise in its statutes to promote scientific updating, through the promotion of courses, conferences and conferences aimed at improving the techniques for diagnosing and treating hernias, as well as the effort to facilitate research aimed at the study and treatment of abdominal wall hernias.
