Knowledge of Inheritance in Islam

Inheritance comes from Arabic al-irts (الإرث) or al-mirats (الميراث) in general meaning the inheritance (tirkah) of the property of the deceased (majority).

Etymologically (lughawi) inheritance contains 2 meanings, namely (a) fixed and (b) the transfer of something from one people to another is either material or non-material.

While according to the terminology of Islamic jurisprudence / jurisprudence is the transfer of property of a (dead) to another person (heir) because there is a kinship or marriage relationship with the procedures and rules that have been determined by Islam based on Surat An-Nisa '4: 11-12.
