About Screen controller

Screen controller is an Android utility for managing screen orientation and system bars.

Built by SG Tech App, it centralizes orientation control with per-app rules, reading mode, and quick locks. Download Screen controller to streamline screen rotation and system bar tweaks.

Full set of rotation modes, including portrait, landscape, and sensor-based options.Per-app orientation rules with quick filters to find assigned rotation types.Read mode profiles by app, with color choices and brightness adjustments.Touch and gesture locks, plus customizable status and navigation bars.

Precision Orientation Control

Screen controller offers a full range of rotation modes so your screen behaves how you expect. Choose from Portrait, Landscape, Reverse Portrait, Reverse Landscape, Full Sensor, Sensor Landscape, or leave it unspecified when you prefer the system default. This covers daily needs, from locking landscape for long videos to keeping portrait for messaging.

A floating orientation button can sit on top of apps, making quick changes feel natural, and a short vibration confirms the switch so you are not guessing. If your phone’s own auto-rotate fights the setting, disable the system auto-rotate toggle or grant the required permissions so the chosen mode sticks. On rare devices, manufacturer tweaks may still override specific orientations, so using Full Sensor often gives the most consistent results.

Per‑App Rotation Profiles and Filters

The Screen controller app lets you fix orientation for each app individually, which is especially helpful when some games or readers prefer a specific layout. Set a video app to landscape permanently, keep banking apps in portrait for security, or make maps follow sensor-based rotation for driving.

When profiles grow, the built-in Filters help you quickly find which apps were assigned to landscape, portrait, or sensor types. This keeps adjustments manageable even with a long app list. A few apps ignore forced rotation by design; in those cases, switching to Sensor Landscape or temporarily using the floating button is a practical workaround. Expect to grant usage access so the app can detect which app is in the foreground and apply the right rule at the right time.

Read Mode for Comfortable Viewing

With Screen controller, read mode softens colors and manages brightness to reduce eye strain. You can set warmer tones for night reading and keep normal colors for email or browsing during the day. Profiles can be applied per app, so an e-book reader gets a gentle tint while photo editors stay color-accurate.

Brightness adjustments are handled through system settings, so the change is smooth and consistent across screens. If you notice color filters affecting screenshots or color-critical tasks, disable read mode for those specific apps and keep it active only where comfort matters most. A short haptic cue on switching orientation can complement read mode, making context changes more noticeable without interrupting focus.

Touch and Gesture Locks

Screen controller adds a touch lock overlay that blocks taps while you watch videos, helping prevent accidental pauses or skips. It is useful when the phone sits on a stand or when kids are nearby and might tap the screen. Beyond the overlay, gesture locks use sensors to lock or unlock with a raise, an automatic wave, or a quick shake.

These gestures are handy when your hands are wet or gloved, yet it is wise to enable only the ones you actually use. Sensor-based features and overlays can increase battery usage slightly on some devices, and they may clash with OEM motion gestures. If that happens, turn off overlapping system gestures or reduce the sensitivity of raise and shake actions inside settings.

Status and Navigation Bar Customization

With the Screen controller APK, you can restyle status and navigation bars using solid colors, gradients, or even images. This helps match your wallpaper, reduce visual clutter, or make system bars easier to see in bright light. It is a small change that makes the interface feel cleaner and more personal.

Behavior varies across Android versions and manufacturer skins. Some system themes or full-screen video players may override the bars, hiding custom colors until you return to a regular app. If an image looks stretched, try a simpler gradient or a solid color for consistent results. Pairing subtle bar colors with consistent orientation control creates a cohesive, distraction-free look across apps.

Download Screen controller on APKPure

You can get the Screen controller latest version on APKPure as a quick, lightweight download. The size may vary depending on the APK version, so ensure sufficient storage before downloading. On a stable connection, the file typically arrives within moments, and installation continues right after the download completes.

During setup, Android may ask for permissions such as overlay, usage access, or device admin to enable locks and orientation control. These prompts appear at first launch and can be adjusted later in settings. After installation, try the floating orientation button and create a simple per-app profile to see how your favorite video or reading app behaves. If gestures are enabled, test them briefly to confirm they match your daily use.
