ScreenOff Privacy

Automate and take control of your device's privacy with ScreenOff Privacy.

Instant lock MUST be disabled, so that the application can apply privacy changes before locking the screen, the application will lock automatically the screen in 250ms (1/4 second) after screen OFF event.

This utility allows you to automatically manage your microphone and camera access based on your screen state.

- Smart Lockdown: Automatically disables microphone and camera when your screen is off.

- Call Awareness: Intelligently restores microphone access during incoming or active calls so you never miss a conversation.

- Reduce sensors usage for privacy and battery life by disabling optional sensors during screen OFF

- Force the device to go into deep sleep (Doze) while screen is OFF

- Non-Intrusive: Runs as a lightweight foreground service to ensure your privacy is always prioritized.

Used permissions:

- READ_PHONE_STATE: Used to check if a call is ongoing to avoid cutting the microphone during calls

- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display privacy shield updates on your Status Bar

- ACCESSIBILITY: This service is EXCLUSIVELY used to lock the screen once the privacy changes are applied following a screen OFF. No data is collected using this service, the application does NOT read any information from your screen.
