It is our pleasure to welcome you to Hyderabad for “International Conference on Rice Bran Oil – 2023" an unique event to be held from 21st-23rd April 2023 at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre, Hyderabad, (India).

In 2013, major Rice Bran Oil producing countries viz. China, India, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam formed International Association of Rice

Bran Oil (IARBO), and later joined by Pakistan & Bangladesh, with the objectives to

1) establish the international scientific standard of rice bran oil (rice oil) and value added products of rice bran;

2) promote and foster uniformity of commerce and trade among Asian countries in the fields of rice bran oil;

3) encourage and promote improved communication amongst rice bran producers, industry groups, academic researchers and local governments;

4) enhance value addition in rice bran oil and enlarge its field of commercial applications;

5) sponsor training programmes to assist members in their technical work and development aimed at improving rice bran oil production and support nutrition research.
