In Conjunction with OSL (www.oslserves.org) Food In Motion/Microsoft/and King County Solid Waste, an app has been created to reduce food waste within Western Washington to support the nutritional well-being of those who struggle with hunger. Post edible food donations that has been held at safe holding temperatures, with any pertinent information or description, from your Commercial Food Business. The recipient Meal Program will contact you to schedule a pick-up time, release liability through a chain of temperature custody app, and supply you with a Tax Receipt. All donations will be used to serve those in need in our community. Track your past and current donations as well as track how much food you have "thrown-away" prior to each food donation in order to plan ahead and prevent food waste.
