Sejarah Illuminati

The Illuminati History Application is an Indonesian Free Book application that contains a summary of the theory of Illuminati History. Illuminati (plural form of Latin illuminatus, "enlightened") is the name given to several groups, both real (historical) and fictional. Historically, this name refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, a secret society during the Age of Enlightenment that was founded on May 1, 1776.

Since the publication of the postmodern science fiction work entitled The Illuminatus! Trilogy (1975-7) by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson, the name Illuminati has become widely used to denote a conspiracy organization that is believed to be behind and controlling various events in the world through governments and corporations to establish the New World Order. In this context, the Illuminati is usually described as a modern or continuous version of the Bavarian Illuminati.

This movement was founded on May 1, 1776 in Ingolstadt (Upper Bavaria) as the Order of the Illuminati, with an initial membership of five, and was spearheaded by Adam Weishaupt (r. 1830). He was a professor of canon law at the Jesuit-run University of Ingolstadt, as the only non-clerical (non-religious) professor. [3] This group consisted of free thinkers who embodied the Enlightenment and seemed to be emulating Freemasons. [4] Illuminati members take secret oaths and vow to serve their superiors. Its members are divided into three classes, each with several levels, and many branches of the Illuminati attract members from existing Mason lodges.
