On the basis of the information entered, the software will suggest the Selle SMP model that best fits your body. This is why we need to ask for a few items of essential data: gender, age bracket, bicycle type (electrical or manual), type of cycling, frequency of use and padding preferences. Depending on the type of cycling chosen, we will also ask you about the seat type or trouser size and your sit bone measurement.

How to choose a professional bicycle saddle

The sit bone measurement is very important for those looking for a professional saddle (Selle SMP Professional saddles). This data helps ensure an even better match of bicycle saddle. There are two easy ways to measure your sit bone:

1) measure at home: you will need a piece of flexible cardboard, a pencil, a ruler and a table.

2) measure at Selle SMP retailers: we will get you to sit on the S-Tool (a stool or tablet).
