The IOTA Selv mobile app demonstrates how health credentials and identity management will operate in practice. Using a combination of cryptography and distributed ledger technology (DLT) it is possible to create a (feeless) framework for generating and validating digital credentials for health data and personal identity. An individual’s credentials are stored locally on their device, allowing employers and relevant authorities to securely validate them.
