Semut Apps is an android based mobile application which allow the users to share their location (Social GPS). Semut apps was developed on January 2014, and it still the prototype (beta) version. Semut Apps is a part of Bandung Smart Transportation System, TMDG 7 LSKK ITB.

Semut Apps give many benefits to the users, such as :

Semut Apps has unique and funny avatars which is adapted to local identity, such as the avatars that used traditional clothes, or the characters such as Gatotkaca which can not be found on another Social GPS application.

Family & Friends, Semut Apps has feature which allow the users to create relationship between them, such as family and friend.

Important feature : Semut Apps allow the users share their location to the others, but still keeping their privacy. The users might look for the last position or position history of their friends. Semut Apps give security mode which will choose who will be allowed to see their location.

Another important feature : Semut Apps gives the optimal route using queue points data, so the estimated time given to reach the destination will meet the real condition.

Semut Apps has interesting gamification system to the users. The users will be awarded when they using public transportation, follow the given route by the system, or obey the traffic rule.
