The security of women is a critical issue faced by society and The safety of women is a concern of increasing urgency in India and other countries.

To aid in the safety and wellness of women, I have introduces a mobile application called Sherni (Women's App) that provides women with a reliable way to place an emergency call to the police. The user can easily and discreetly trigger the SOS alert function by 3-4 times pressing the power button, or by explicitly interacting with the user interface of the application via a simple press of a SOS alert and whatsApp alert button on the screen. A message containing the geographical location of the user, as well as contact details, is immediately sent to the selected contact numbers.

This application is designed to address the safety and fitness concerns of women by offering features that help them monitor their menstrual cycle, provide a platform for Q&A, track their fitness health and allow them to access emergency contacts. The period tracker feature enables women to track their menstrual cycle, including the start and end dates and trigger notification just before the period dates. The Q&A feature provides a safe space for women to ask questions about various topics related to women's health and wellness. Finally, the emergency contact feature allows women to quickly and easily access trusted contacts in case of an emergency. This application is a comprehensive solution for women who want to stay safe, informed, and healthy.
