Shri Brahma Chalisa

Brahma is the first god in the Hindu triumvirate.Brahma is referred to as 'The Creator' within the Trimurti, the triple deity of supreme divinity that includes Vishnu, and Shiva.Brahma is commonly depicted as a red or golden complexioned bearded man, with four heads and hands. His four heads represent the four Vedas and are pointed to the four cardinal directions. He is seated on a lotus and his vahana is a swan.

According to the Puranas, Brahma is the son of God, and often referred to as Prajapati. The ​Shatapatha Brahman says that Brahma was born of the Supreme Being Brahman and the female energy known as Maya.
