The app - SIGNCOM is basically an app designed to facilitate the communication amongst the deaf people. The main challenge for them is to communicate in their day to day life with people who do not know the sign languages. This app aims solving the same with an approach to converse through the sign language. Easy to download, the app contains 12 tutorial videos for instruction to this language. Moreover, this app contains the features to convert speech to text and text to speech. With the aim to make the world a better place to live in and enabling the deaf community a voice in their day to day life. We hope to make the world a more communicable place. The app contains a Personal information section which is needed in case of an emergency.

PERSONAL PAGE: This is a personalised page to identify a person in case of emergency and when no effective communication is working out. This gives the information about name, age, blood group, address, emergency contact nos. for a person in the hour of need. It can be saved and stored by the deaf person himself or by any guardian, which will be a tool for his identity.

ISL VIDEOS: ISL videos are an integral part of the app and are related to the most common words used in one's day to day life. In these videos , words in sign language are performed and the related word is also written alongwith. This can help in communicating any word or expression by a deaf person who can show this to a non-deaf person, the deaf person can locate the word by the sign language and the non-deaf person can locate by the words written alongwith. These videos can also help any person learn Indian sign language, especially to a deaf person who is in a remote area and has no access to formal sign language learning platform. These videos are made by dedicated and experienced members of the Noida Deaf Society and all these videos are strictly performed by deaf people with wonderful facial expression.

SPEAK TO TEXT & TEXT TO SPEECH: This feature helps to communicate by typing ( by a deaf person) which is converted into speech by the app, which can be listened by a non-deaf person. Also it can be used for communication, if a person wants to communicate with the deaf person, he can speak by using the speak button, and the app will convert the speech into text. This feature is available in both Hindi and English. This app can also be used by all those people who are interested to learn Indian sign language and want to make a career related.
