Sikkim Herald is the largest circulated Government bulletin in the State. Till 2014, Sikkim Herald (English) was a weekly news bulletin and subsequently, in June 2014, it was made a bi-weekly news bulletin. Sikkim Herald focuses on highlighting the policies, programmes and activities of the State Government for the benefit of the general masses.

Subsequently, in order to promote and encourage the development of local languages in the State, Sikkim Herald is also published in other local languages on weekly basis, such as Nepali, Tibetan, Lepcha, Bhutia, Limboo, Gurung, Sherpa, Tamang , Mangar, Rai, Newari and Mukhia.
