Silvalert

This application is one of the tools created by the PLURIFOR consortium to enhance the management of forest risks across Europe.

Silvalert is both a website and a mobile app that enables users to report damages observed in forests. Users with an account can document damages by capturing a geolocated photo and uploading it to the system.

Depending on the type of report submitted, the collected data is made available to local forest managers and partner organizations to assist in verifying the observation's accuracy. Timely collection of this data helps track the progression of forest damages and facilitates response actions when critical issues arise.

This tool was developed by the PLURIFOR consortium. At present, it only supports reporting of damages observed in South-West Europe and the United Kingdom.
