Simple Hub

Simple Hub provides synchronization, lockdown, timers, and triggers for Simple Control.

IMPORTANT

Simple Hub requires Simple Control (not available for Android) with the Simple Service or Roomie Service and has no functionality without it.

FEATURES

SYNCHRONIZATION

Simple Hub acts as a member of Simple Control's secure synchronization mesh keeping all of your Simple Control devices in sync instantly. Even if none of your devices are actively running Simple Control, Simple Sync will track your configuration, status for all Activities, and power state for all devices.

LOCKDOWN

Enables all Simple Control devices to be locked so that their configurations cannot be changed. Provides the ability to set a PIN number to allow temporary access.

TRIGGERS

Create reactive feedback actions such as "run the Watch TV Activity when my Lutron keypad button is pressed". The currently supported trigger devices are Lutron Radio RA2, Lutron Caséta, Philips Hue, Vera, and Universal Devices ISY.

TIMERS

Create actions such as "turn off the TV in 90 minutes" or "open the shades at 9am".

REMOTE ACCESS

All Commands, Activities, and even Feedback to and from your devices works remotely outside your local network when securely paired with Simple Hub. Requires Simple Service.

BACKGROUND

Simple Control clients are kept synchronized by Simple Hub even when it is running in the background on your Android device. Triggers continue to execute even if Simple Hub is not in the foreground.

SMARTTHINGS

Simple Hub accepts commands from a SmartThings Hub. The Simple Hub SmartThings Setup Pack provides instructions on enabling this support: http://bit.ly/1VCiohO
