Singular provides you with a place to start if you are struggling for simple programming project ideas. Or use Singular to gain inspiration to create your own, and create you must.

The motivation behind Singular is to help you focus on ONE PROJECT for 30 days. At the end of this period you must release the application or whatever you have to the world. Once you find the one you like, click on the Commit button. By pressing the Commit button you are secretly making a promise to yourself to complete and release whatever you can by midnight on the 30th day. So not 31 or 32, but 30 days. You have to be strict about the deadline as if you were creating the application for a client. In order to do this, you will need to make this project your prime focus for the next 30 days.

The project will require you to be fully committed so that you can release something that you can be proud of whilst providing some valuable lessons in getting the balance between 'learning' versus 'creating' against a ticking clock.
