Sirah Nabi Muhammad SAW

Indeed studying the sirah of the Prophet ﷺ is part of this religion. Because of the previous salaf, they had ihtimām (great attention) in studying the Prophet's sirah ﷺ. And many excerpts from them that show how great their attention to the history of the Prophet ﷺ.

As quoted from ‘Ali bin al-Husain (son of Al-Husain bin‘ Ali bin Abi Thālib) known as Zaynal ‘Abidīn. He once said:

 كُنَّا نُعَلَّمُ مَغَازِيَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَرَايَاهُ كَمَا نُعَلَّمُ السُّورَن

"We were taught about the history of the Prophet's warfare - whether the Prophet participated or not as we were taught about the Holy Qur'an." (Al-Jaami 'li Akhlaaq Ar-Raawi wa Aadaab as-Saami 2/195)

This shows that the earlier Salafs really paid attention to the history of the Prophet ﷺ, including the battles of the Prophet ﷺ, as they had previously taught about the letters in the Qur'an.
