From previous engagements in campaigns and screening for infectious diseases, mitigating these conditions at scale has been a concern.

Screening is the first line of action, as early diagnosis not only averts health problems but also prevents transmission. However, despite the critical role of testing as a first-line action, it isn’t readily accessible or affordable. Skrind was born from the need to offer readily available and affordable diagnostic tests for the population, in order to bring many to the diagnostic and treatment care spectrum.

Skrind is a mobile app that provides one-spot access to vital information on diseases, & also a simple DIY self-testing tool for users to discreetly screen themselves using customized testing strips via users’ smartphone camera.

1. Take awareness campaigns on these infectious diseases to the populace, right on their mobile devices,

2. Scale access to screening in a DIY self-testing approach that also guarantees confidentiality, and
