Smart Transport Management

Smart Transport Management is the driver companion app for transport and logistics teams using the STMS fleet platform. Drivers receive assigned trips, navigate routes with live turn-by-turn guidance, complete vehicle inspections, report faults and expenses, manage leaves and availability, and stay connected with dispatchers all from a single app.

Smart Transport Management is built for professional fleet drivers. Your company administrator provisions your account on the STMS platform; you sign in with your tenant, phone or email, and password to access only the trips and data assigned to you.

PERMISSIONS WE USE AND WHY

- Location (foreground and background) — to navigate during trips and share your live position with your dispatcher while a trip is active. Background location is only used during an active trip, even when the app is closed or not in use. You will see an in-app explanation before any permission prompt, and you can revoke access at any time in Android Settings.

- Camera — to capture vehicle inspection photos, your profile photo, scan vehicle assignment QR codes, and scan driving licences.

- Photos / Media — to attach images to fault and expense reports.

- Notifications — to deliver trip assignments, dispatcher messages, and operational alerts.

WHO IS THIS APP FOR

Smart Transport Management is intended for employees of transport companies that subscribe to the STMS fleet management platform. You will need an account provisioned by your company administrator to use the app.

PRIVACY

We take driver privacy seriously. Location data collected during active trips is shared only with your authorised fleet administrator. The app does not use your data for advertising and does not contain ads. Our full privacy policy is available from the in-app menu and on our website.
