Use of the Accessibility Service

SmartTime uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect which app is currently in the foreground and to close blocked or time-limited apps until you have completed your learning tasks. This is how SmartTime reliably enforces screen-time limits, blocked hours, and its parental and learning features.

This permission is used only locally on your device. SmartTime does not read, store, collect, or share any personal content, input, passwords, or on-screen data. You must actively consent before it is enabled, and you can turn the Accessibility Service off again at any time in your Android settings.
