Are you looking for songwriting inspiration?

SongSpark is a simple tool that generates quick song ideas. Use the generated tunes as a starting point for your next great songwriting idea, or just enjoy listening to the computer-generated music.

This new version of the app features an updated interface built from the ground up and inspired by Material design.

Features:

-Auto-generated music based on music theory

-Audio playback to listen to the song idea right on your device

-Chord progression display for playing along

-Choose from a wide variety of virtual lead and rhythm instruments

-Change between multiple scales/modes for a variety of sounds and emotions

-Export and share a MIDI file of the generated song idea for later playback or editing

-Added Bass Instruments
-Improved song generation
-Got rid of bagpipes... they sounded pretty awful...
-This version should also fix a crash that would happen if you generated a new song while the last one was finishing playback

- The currently playing chord is now highlighted in the chord view
- You can now tap on a chord to select it to have playback "seek" to that chord
- Also fix a startup crash that would happen on devices using older versions of Android
