STEAG Insights

For more than 85 years, STEAG has stood for efficient and safe power generation. STEAG Power GmbH operates hard coal-fired power plants at six locations in Germany. Their share of total electricity generation in Germany is around five percent. With its coal-fired power plants, it also makes an important contribution to the success of the energy transition. Controllable energies will still be needed for the foreseeable future so that the industrial nation of Germany can safely transform itself into largely emission-free, but at least in the coming years, still volatile energy production. STEAG Power also operates large power plants in Turkey and Colombia. With STEAG Insights we provide insights into the STEAG Power energy world and present current reports, films and a dictionary with terms from the energy sector.
