Steep

Steep is a modern analytics platform powered by metrics that changes how companies use data together. Steep can be used on your phone, Mac or in your browser.

Define once, use everywhere

• A BI system for the whole organization where all visualizations are powered by centralized metric definitions.

• Define metrics from the app or with the dbt semantic layer

Analysis made for everyone

• Explore metrics directly. Go deeper with multi-layered analysis.

• Intuitive analysis for all roles. All the visualizations you need built natively for the semantic layer.

Make confident decisions together

• Reports, drag-and-drop layout, where you can quickly add any graph or text block. Bring all roles together in the same report with multiplayer editing.

• Create anything from ad-hoc insights to polished management decks. Share and discuss findings to drive informed decisions

• Use the desktop app to create reports and the mobile app to view them.

Works with your data stack

• Connect to major data warehouse products such as Snowflake, BigQuery and Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, or directly to any PostgreSQL database.

• dbt core 1.5 - Steep fully supports the dbt semantic layer. You can define metrics in your dbt project and use them in Steep.
