Strömsholms Kanal

Welcome to Strömsholm's canal and Skantzen with a guided walk in the area!

Here we will tell you about different buildings, what they were used for and in several places you can listen to a story about some of the people who lived and worked at Skantzen. You can click on the pictures and they will appear on full screen. Much pleasure!

Strömholm's canal follows Kolbäcksån's water system and passes through historic mills. The 11 km long fairway passes 14 lakes, from Barken in the north to Lake Mälaren in the south.
