Stun Gun have been widely used by police for quite some time now, but they have also become popular consumer items for self-defense. Stun Gun are pistol-type devices that shoot small darts or probes attached to thin, flexible wires. When the arrows hit the target, electricity is conducted through the wires. Electrical impulses pass between the probes, blocking the target by disrupting the neuromuscular system. Once the probes are in place, the person holding the Stun Gun can conduct several cycles of electricity. Consumer models of the Stun Gun can hit a target from a height of up to 15 feet.
