SubScreen+ is a subtitle player intended to be used when subtitles are not available or desired on the primary screen.

Usage

Subtitles can be selected from a Subtitles folder on your device, created on first run. They may either be placed there manually, or downloaded using the built-in OpenSubtitles.org download support. Playback is simple, you don't need to worry about which format they are in, just load them!

Languages

Languages other than English are supported, both for playing and downloading.

File Formats

All file formats used on OpenSubtitles.org are supported, along with zip files.

Downloading

You may use the app to search for and download one of tens-of-thousands of subtitle files. Language may be specified. This feature is provided ad-free courtesy of OpenSubtitles.org.

Permissions

The only permissions this app uses are to access the network and write to the disk. These are used in order to allow for the download of subtitle files.
