Surah Baqarah

Surah Al-Baqarah is the second chapter of the Quran, consisting of 286 verses. It is the longest surah in the Quran and was revealed in Medina. The surah covers a wide range of topics including faith, law, guidance for personal conduct, and advice on community matters. Key themes include the Oneness of God, the story of Adam, laws regarding fasting, charity, and social justice, as well as narratives of past prophets.

In Surah Baqarah, Allah Almighty introduces us to the Quran and tells us about three different types of people; those who will benefit from the guidance of the Quran, those who won’t, and those who are only pretending to be people of the Quran. The rest of the Surah is a beautiful blend of history, life lessons, and instructions. Surah Baqarah has various benefits and great rewards in this life and in the hereafter.
