Surah e Nooh With Urdu Transla

1. The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: Whoever recites it and puts forth his need and desire, Allah would fulfill it in an easy and simple way.

2. Imam as-Sadiq (a.s) said: Whoever has belief and firm conviction on Allah should not miss recitation of “Inna Arsalna Noohan ilaa Qaumeh” (i.e. Surah Nuh) because whoever recites Surah Nuh in his obligatory and recommended prayer, Allah would allow him to stay with the virtuous and approved persons of Allah and would award him three gardens of paradise with his garden by His special favors.

This Surah has 28 ayaat and it is ‘makki’. The Holy Prophet (S) said that those who recite this Surah will get a reward equal to the number of people who believe in Prophet Nuh (a.s.).

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) said that those who believe in Allah (S.w.T.), His Prophet (S) and recite the Holy Qur’an, should never leave out Surah Nuh as they will gain a place among the favoured servants of Allah (S.w.T.) by reciting it. He will get three places in Jannah instead of one and he will be given 200 houries. Any supplications made after reciting this Surah are quickly answered. The one who recites this Surah often will not die until he sees his place in Jannah.

Whoso recites this surah in his obligatory and supererogatory salats would stay with favourites of Allah in paradise, amidst beautiful women and houries.

ii) Whoso recites this surah and beseeches Allah for fulfilment of his legitimate desires and needs Allah would give him what he wants without delay.

iii) Whoso recites this surah regularly would not die unless he sees the place he would be allotted in paradise.
