Surah Ikhlas

It declares the oneness and uniqueness of Allah. It is also known as Surah Tawheed, which means the surah of monotheism. Reciting Surah Ikhlas has many benefits for Muslims, such as:

- It is equivalent to reciting one-third of the Quran. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Recite Surah Ikhlas. It is equal to a third of the Quran."

- It grants forgiveness of sins. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Qul huwa Allaahu ahad ten times, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."

- It protects from all kinds of evils and harms. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Say: He is Allah, the One, then say: I seek refuge with the Lord of daybreak and say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind. Then blow into your hands and wipe over your body. This will protect you from everything."

- It increases faith and piety. Reciting Surah Ikhlas helps to purify the heart and mind from any doubts or polytheism. It also reminds us of the greatness and majesty of Allah, and the importance of worshipping Him alone.
