SURVIVAL FOR FREEDOM

Survival for Freedom is 3D Action/Runner/Arcade game with the obvious aim of entertaining many

who come across this game. This game was inspired by a running scene in the movie, “Apocalyto”.

In this scene the oppressors allowed the slaves to run across a plain field whilst throwing weapons at

them with aim of killing them.

A runner made it alive whilst the others died trying to survive and this is where the concept the game

Survival for freedom came in. In this game there are four screens namely; the splash screen, the main

menu screen, the gameplay screen and the game over screen

• The Splash Screen: The splash screen is the first screen the opens when the game is

launched. It contains the an animated logo of the game.

• The Main Menu Screen: The Main Menu is the next screen that opens after the splash

screens completes loading. On this screen, there is a panel that displays the number gold

bars(coins) and stars accumulated and the high score obtained whiles. Also there is a settings

button when click draws out the sound button which can then be toggled on and off

depending on the user’s preference. Lastly, there are three(3) main buttons, which are:

➢ The Play Button: This button sends the gamer to the gameplay screen when

clicked/pressed

➢ The Upgrade Button: This button when pressed, opens an upgrade panel which give

the gamer the opportunity to the purchase power ups such as the shield and health pack

using the gold bars(coins) accumulated and also purchase some gold bars(coins) using

stars obtained as well

➢ The Exit Button: This button quits the entire game when pressed.

• The Gameplay Screen: This screen is where the gamer actually plays the game using the

joystick controller to control the player and fulfilling the aim of the game. Here, the player is

controller trying to avoid obstacle(weapons) while collecting as many gold bars(coins) and

stars as possible not forgetting to beat the high score. A player has three lives of which it

reduces of anything the player is hit by a weapon. Lastly the game can be pause and resumed

if need be.

• The Game-over Screen: This screen shows up when a player’s lives are exhausted. The high

score of the game, score obtained for the current game and the total number of stars and gold

bars(coins) are displayed on this screen. The gamer has the choice of either returning to the

Main Menu Screen or restarting the game again.

Survival for freedom can be tagged with the following: Action, Running, Strategy and Action-

Adventure. This game has no Advertisement(Ads) and no user/player information is collected.
