SVIMS hospital has acquired the state-of-art equipment. The sophisticated medical equipment installed in SVIMS will now facilitate diagnosis and treatment of diseases faster and less cumbersome. SVIMS has been recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) since 2003 for conducting various DM, MCh, MD courses. In 2006, the Government of India included SVIMS as one of the institutions for upgradation at par with AIIMS, New Delhi under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) scheme.
