SVS Educational Institutions were established in the year 2009 under Sri Velammal Subbiah Educational Trust, Coimbatore and promoted by Thiru. S. Chandrasekaran, an Industrialist to render quality and character building education, research and training facilities to the younger generation. A strong team of experts back the trust from various fields and guides in the promotion and development of SVS Educational Institutions. The Institutions under this trust are SVS College of Engineering and SVS School of Architecture.

SVS College of Engineering, Coimbatore, an ISO 9001:20008 Certified Institution affiliated to Anna University, located at 2.5KM from Coimbatore - Pollachi National Highway, is continuously being monitored by the Vice Chairman Mr.B.Raghavendran. The courses offered in SVSCE are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. SVSCE offers six undergraduate programs and three postgraduate programs in Engineering.

SVS School of Architecture was established in the year 2010 to provide the students, a holistic thinking about the conceptual basis of the architectural design in terms of traditional and modern issues, energy efficiency, climate control, structural stability etc., and to arrive optimum solutions. The School has highly qualified, experienced and well trained faculty in Architecture.

SVSEI is a home of 36 acres to aesthetically designed buildings with state of the art computer and internet centers, Modern workshops, state-of-art laboratories, lecture halls, Seminar halls, well stocked libraries, sports and games fields in addition to gymnasium.

Each department conducts annually at least one National Conference/Seminar/Workshop for effective dissemination of state-of-art technologies and research findings for the benefit of faculty and industries.

SVS Innovation Centre, Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Faculty Development Centre, Higher Education Cell and Research & Development Centre are the hallmarks of the Institutes.
