Taipei 101 Green Building APP is your guide to experiencing the tallest green building in the world. TAIPEI 101 became the world’s tallest green building in 2011 when it received LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance Platinum certification. From 2015 TAIPEI 101 started to apply for an even higher standard of recertification, receiving the LEED v4 O+M Platinum level certification in 2016 and setting a new paradigm for Green Supertall Buildings. From the very beginning, TAIPEI 101’s original design concept combined oriental Zen style with green building design. However, TAIPEI 101 believes that to protect the earth, “good” needs to be “better,” and continues to put 101% effort into environmental protection, maintaining our status as a world-renowned benchmark for green building.
