Tapak Suci is a pencak silat school and organization

Tapak Suci was founded on 10 Rabiul Awal 1383H, or coinciding with 31 July 1963 in Kauman, Yogyakarta.

Tapak Suci Putera Muhammadiyah, or abbreviated as Tapak Suci, is a pencak silat sect, college and organization which is a member of the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI).

Tapak Suci is based on Islam, based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah, has a spirit of brotherhood, and is under the auspices of the Muhammadiyah Association.

As an autonomously managed part of Muhammadiyah, this pencak silat school is open to membership not only for Muslims but for anyone who is interested, both in Indonesia and abroad.
