In DKV Famedic we want to make it easy every time you go to the doctor, so we put at your disposal a digital card so you do not have to carry more cards than necessary. You can identify yourself as insured from your mobile and validate the consultation with the medical professional. Not only can you have your medical card, but from the app you can manage the medical cards of the whole family. In addition, this initiative represents another measure of our commitment to reduce the excessive use of plastics.

How is the digital card used?

Once you have the app installed on your mobile it is very easy to use your digital medical card:

• Identify yourself with your username (ID) and password

• Enter the insured's data to create all digital cards.

• To use it, select the card with which you are going to identify yourself and the option of the QC reader.

• In consultation, read the QR code generated by the medical professional with your mobile. You also have the option of entering a numerical code that will be automatically generated for use in that query.

• The registered consultation will already be available and you will be able to access all medical appointments.
