Te Hahi Ringatu

Te Hāhi Ringatū is an innovative smart phone app that would bring our traditional customs of Karakia and Waiata into the modern world of technology and everyday life. The smart phone app would include four primary types of Karakia (tangihanga, hura kōhatu, Hāpati and general) which would also include hīmene, pānui and waiata. Within the app there would be both audio and visual transcriptions of the primary Karakia, hīmene, pānui and waiata to assist in learning. The app would be a useful resource on the Marae, hui and as an educational resource.
