Talkwave

Talkwave is a voice chat and friendship platform built for real conversations in small rooms.

CHOOSE A TOPIC

Explore rooms centered on shared interests and language practice. Each room supports up to six people so conversations stay easy to follow.

TALK TOGETHER

Join live voice conversations and see who is speaking. Your room alias gives each conversation a light, playful identity. In rooms, people who are not your friends see only your room alias and cartoon avatar; your native language, interests, and introduction are shown only to friends.

MEET AGAIN

When you spend at least three minutes in a room with someone, they appear in your Met list under People. See where you met, how many times you have met, and recent room aliases.

MAKE FRIENDS

Send a friend request to someone you meet. Once accepted, friends can exchange private text messages, see availability, and join each other’s rooms. You can also add a profile photo that only your friends can see.

STAY IN CONTROL

Mute, report, and block controls are available from a member’s room profile. Talkwave is for adults age 18 and older. Community Guidelines apply to voice, messages, profiles, and other interactions.

SAFETY AND RECORDING

To counter crime of every kind, Talkwave has no choice but to record room voice. Recordings are kept for 30 days and are used only to review reports, investigate crime, and cooperate with law enforcement. We tell you this clearly every time you sign in, and you must agree before you can use Talkwave.

Talkwave is free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid digital content in version 1.0.
