In Tafsir Fakhr al-Razi, it is said that a ruler came to a certain place. There he drank juice. The juice tasted so good that it made him interested in visiting the pomegranate garden. The ruler thought about seizing the garden. He then asked for juice again. However, this time the juice tasted sour, not as delicious as before. Out of curiosity, he then asked a small child who was there, "Why is this pomegranate sour?"

The child answered, "Maybe because there are rulers who have evil intentions towards their people."

Instantly, the king was shocked. He then repented and intended not to abuse his people again. He then asked for more pomegranate juice. It's really magical, this time it tastes much sweeter and tastier than before. He asked again, "Why is this pomegranate so sweet now?"

The boy answered, "Perhaps there is a ruler who will repent of his mistakes and will spend the rest of his life doing good."

The king in the story above is named Nusyirwan, the Persian King who was famous for his justice. It was during Nusyirwan's time that the Prophet was born. So, humans who bring grace to the universe are born under the rule of a just leader.

A just king or leader will lead his people to peace and prosperity. When he acts justly, of course he is believing and being devoted to his Lord, and when his people also believe and are devoted, God will pour out blessings from the heavens and the earth. This is God's promise, "And if the people of the land are devout and pious, We will surely bestow upon them blessings from the heavens and the earth" (al-A'raf [7]: 96). On the other hand, if the king or leader acts unjustly then he is actually spreading disaster and inviting God's punishment.
