It was New Year's Eve one snowy night. "Do you need any matches?" There was a girl selling matches in town. But she couldn't sell a single match. "What will I do? I haven't sold a single match. If I go home, father will be upset." Time passed and still not a match was sold. The night grew dark and fewer were people outside. The young girl grew tired and couldn't walk anymore.
